Learning is something that no one can avoid. Somethings in life can not pass by with a person learning a new concept or idea. Learning takes place when a person's standing in line at the grocery store, sitting in a classroom with a teacher, or just driving by a something that catches their attention. This happens all the time when students go on field trips to the zoo or to a science center. The students learn from doing, listening, or even talking about what they saw. People learn with different styles such as a visual learner, an auditory learner, or a kinesthetic learner and each one has its own benefits and downfalls. Classifying a visual learner can cause problems for their learning experience. These types of learners need a little bit more attention from the teacher and for the teacher to show them exactly what they need to do.(“Tips”) Visual learners daydream and have nothing to say. They have trouble finding the right words and when to say them. These learners organize everything they come in contact with. They will use colored paper, crayons, highlighters, or movable pieces to help them learn the information to keep it in their brain. Physically touching objects or hands-on experiments will help the student pick up on the information quicker than them reading or listening to the teacher gave a lecture.(“Tips”) To recognize this type of leaner a teacher will see them move more than others, want to participate in new experiments, and when they talk a kinesthetic learner will use their hands to gesture what they are saying. These learners like to use the computer for interactive games with the information they need to learn or they will dance or walk around while studying to give them a beat to remember the information
