The band for KING & COUNTRY released their Album RUN WILD. LIVE FREE. LOVE STRONG., which included one of their top hit songs, “It’s Not Over Yet” in 2014. The band for KING & COUNTRY is a Christian pop/rock duo composed of Australian brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone. The band has been extremely successful and has achieved many awards and nominees. They were part of a big musical family, which was an inspiration that pushed them to begin performing. The family went through tough times but was able to overcome them through their faith in God. When Luke and Joel began writing music together, they never imagined of becoming so successful. They gave all their success and glory to God, the one who made it all possible. Through God, they were able to create music that expressed their emotions and lifted the spirits of others. “It’s Not Over Yet” was written with many inspirations behind it. Some being the difficulties and struggles the two brothers faced throughout life, but the main inspiration for this song was their younger sister Libby. Libby was diagnosed with Lyme disease, which is a bacterial illness transferred by ticks. Libby encountered a difficult time with her diagnosis and fell into depression, so her brothers created this song to help encourage her and lift her spirits.
