I believe that Shakespeare is not relevant today. According to “On the Bard's birthday, is Shakespeare still relevant?” by Alexandra Petri and “Why it's time to give the Bard the heave-ho!” by Brandon Robshaw, they say Shakespeare is not relevant today. While some people think Shakespeare is still relevant, I think Shakespeare is not relevant today because the play was made back then and it should stay in the past, we will never use this in life, and it is unnecessary to preserve Shakespeare.

She’s also saying he’s part of the nation so he deserves to be relevant today. Alexandra Petri also says, “That is a definite part of his charm. He's a common vocabulary, a common set of heroes and villains and everyone in between.” She’s saying he’s very important to this world because he’s a set of heroes and villains. She’s also saying that heroes and villains are important in movies so Shakespeare is important in this world today. She also says, “His plays still tell the truth, boiled down to their essences.” She is saying that he should be relevant today so that we read his poems since they tell the truth. I still believe Shakespeare isn’t relevant today. He needs to stay in the past. Nobody really cares about him anymore. Technology has evolved since he published Romeo and Juliet.
