This upcoming May, I will officially become a high school graduate. These next few months will fly by, and my collegiate journey will soon begin. As this time draws nearer, I can clarify that having to decide on what career path to focus on is incredibly overwhelming. Due to my sincere desire for learning and my drive to better myself academically, I plan on experimenting in multiple areas in order to discover which will suit myself best. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the maths and sciences. It became apparent early on, to myself and my instructors, that one of my significant traits was my strength in these and related subjects. Over the years, the diligence I've committed to my coursework has shown through, leading to results that I am immensely proud of and that have exceeded my own personal expectations. I always loved learning and have really developed a deep understanding for its importance and how it sculpts the future of our world. Therefore, an occupation that I would currently love to look into—and potentially follow through with—is that of an Occupational Therapist. This career would supply me with the opportunity of helping others and improving their day-to-day lives, a passion of mine that has always interested me greatly. Additionally, my love of science could be incorporated as well due to the fact that I would need to gain knowledge in how the body moves and functions. Given that occupational therapy is a master’s program though, I feel that Kinesiology would be an incredibly beneficial major to pursue as a stepping stone to this final
