Recommended: Describe fear of death

Do you think remembering that you’ll die will make you strive to become successful? Is it possible to be happy while thinking of death? Life is not worth living until you have found something worth dying for and that is what Steve Jobs was trying to get across in his 2005 Commencement Address at Stanford University. Steve Jobs mentioned how remembering that he’ll be dead soon was the most important tool he had encountered to help him make the big choices in his life. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share.” Steve Jobs made a good point. No one has ever escaped death and we all want to. That’s why you have to do what you love and not let the thought of death stop you. Death should make you stronger and make you want to achieve whatever you want to. Death is a key factor as to why you should strive to be something in life. And Steve Jobs makes that a key point in his speech.
“Death is very likely the single best invention of life.” The meaning behind this quote in which Steve Jobs said in his 2005 speech was that death could initially be the start of a excellent life. If you start your life thinking about everything you want to overcome before you die then you’ll achieve it. Death can’t be predicted so therefore you must do whatever it takes to achieve those goals. So death can be the best invention of life. But, not just any life but an extraordinary one. A life that will make you happy.
