A Tribute to my Husband
In My life I have not always had someone to cheer me on, give me positive encouragement, or push me to be better. Then along came this goofy kid who did and most importantly wanted to do those things for me. Little did I know I would later marry that goofy kid. I have known my husband for six amazing years and of those we have been married for four. My husband has helped me to become the person I am today and continues to help show me how to become the person I want be. In my speech I will show you all the ways my husband has impacted my life and those around him.

He has shown me how to go after the difficult things in life. Even though I might not think I can achieve my goals Nick is always there pushing me to go after them. Now, after seeing that I can achieve the things I put my mind to doing I can more confidently dive into challenges. He has taught me how to care less about what people think of me and more about what I think of myself. Most importantly, he teaches me to communicate with others and not let my feelings go unheard. This has been the hardest and most valuable thing he has helped me to learn and still teaches me to do. I am not the only person my husband has had an impact on though. With his goal orientated attitude he makes those around him want to try harder to reach their own goals. Whether in the gym with his friends trying to reach new times and heavier weights or at work to accomplish the mission and get the job done. Even with his changing work schedule and going to school Nick still volunteered to lead his squadrons physical training at least once a week. He also volunteers his time working Airmen Against Drunk Driving. I think we can all learn a lot from people like my husband, I know I
