Implementation
Hulu has no problems with its brand image, as attitudes towards the service are overwhelmingly positive. However, various audience are not favorable towards paying for ads for the $7.99 HD+ service. But they’re incline for the $11.99 HD service, when shown comparison to what they pay for Cable & Satellite TV Providers. Thus, our main objective for this campaign is to increase awareness of the services Hulu offers to new audiences. Offer more incentive to loyal customers to stick to Hulu and differentiate Hulu from competitors.
Our promotion campaign, which will run for one year, specifically seeks increased awareness among business commuters and students, aiming to increase market share by adding 5%-10% (1,500,000) user accounts to the current Nine Million …show more content…

Offer free trial-based subsidies when consumers buy new streaming device.
Hulu will offer free trials to consumers that buy a new streaming device. Hulu will collaborate with companies, such as, Samsung, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Roku, LG, etc. and offer 3-months/6-months free trial, depending on which device they will buy.
2. Offer more incentive to loyal customers to keep loyal Hulu customers.
Hulu will offer incentives to it loyal customers by offering them 3 months commercial free for every 1 ½ years they are with Hulu to customers with $7.99 plan. Hulu will offer royalty picks from a staff-picked premium movies that allows customers with the $11.99HD plan to choose from.
3. Produce more original content on Hulu i.e. (The Mindy Project)
Hulu will produce more original popular content like The Mindy Project.
Control
The key mission for this marketing plan is to increase subscribers as well keep current customers to be loyal. To achieve these goals, we will focus on consumer feedback, allowing customers to take optional surveys, which will count as points that will allow customers get 1 month free.
