Did the Titanic sink? Or was it all a hoax? The loss of the Titanic in 1912, with about 1500 lives, attracted so much controversy that several alternative theories about it's sinking, have gained support. What if I told you that the most famous ship to ever sail-that was famous for sinking-never sank.
Speculations rose when the ship sailed because the ship didn’t look like the titanic sitting in the dock. The titanic was built by a company called ‘The White Star Line’ which was financed by JP Morgan for that specific line of luxury ships that contained two other ships. There was the Titanic, the Olympic, and the Britannic. The titanic and the Olympic were practically twins. But unlike the Titanic the Olympic faced many issues. The Olympic faced a huge collision with another ship called the HMS Hawke. After reevaluating the accident, the royal navy decided that the Olympic was at fault. The ship was damaged, leaning towards the left.So they docked it in Belfast-where the Titanic was also docked-since the insurance couldn’t cover the cost of fixing said ship. This caused a huge insurance disaster for ‘The White Star Line,' which arose disappointment in JP Morgan.

Normally ships would sink because of a storm or weather issues. The night the Titanic it was clear. The ship sank into completely calm sea, and a lot of people argue that there was complete visibility to see the iceberg, and there was enough time to correct the boat to stop it from the collision. So, did it hit the iceberg on purpose? Also, how could the ships have been switched? Wouldn’t people notice? Back then there wasn’t any media coverage, photography had just started, and no documentation to prove anything. And many people stated that it would have been very easy to make the switch without anyone
