Muhammad was the greatest man in the Middle East, he had not only started an empire in Arabia, but also founded the religion of Islam. In his legendary life, Muhammad started as a merchant, but later became the prophet of Allah, and spread teachings of the religion of Islam all over Arabia.
Muhammad was born in 570 BC in Makkah with his father already dead. Right after his birth, his mother sent Muhammad to a nomad family in a desert. Later Muhammad went back to live with his mom at age of 5, but she died soon after, so Muhammad became an orphan. Muhammad’s grandpa took care of him afterward. When Grandpa died, Muhammad’s uncle took care of Muhammad and Muhammad went trading with his uncle at the age of 12. When he grew up, Muhammad became an honest trader. According to Muhammad himself, once he prayed in a cave and angel Gabriel visited him, who told Muhammad that he’s the messenger of Allah, or God. That was when the faith of Islam begin. For the nest 22 years, Muhammad reveal message from Allah to people around him, and gained followers to the religion. Later, his followers wrote down his teaching on a book called Qur’an.
Around 613 B.E, Muhammad began to try largely spreading the teaching of God, causing him to gain more followers. However, most Arabian didn’t joined him, but rejected Muhammad. Then Makkans, the powerful city leader who rejected Muhammad started a boycott to make Muhammad’s followers give up Islam. But Muslims didn’t give up the religion even though some of them died before those powerful clans gave up the boycott.
