Throughout this class, there were many social issues and whom they affect discussed. I loved this class for the reason of getting myself more familiar with what is happening around me and around everyone else in the world. This class was an eye opener to major social issues that people are faced with so in this paper, I am going to talk about the seven objectives we were supposed to obtain from this class.
. 1) Examine the social justice perspective, including how the unequal distribution of benefits and hardships throughout the world contributes to social problems, including those that impact health.

An illegal immigrant is someone who had an illegal entry, someone who is overstaying their visa, or by border crossing card violation. These people want to live in the United States because they are seeking employment, more freedom, Democracy, or simply for the lower cost of living. In 2013, more than 990,000 immigrants received permanent resident status (green card status). About 66% of these new green card holders originated to the United States through family based immigration and more than half of them were immediate relatives of United States citizens. In order for an immigrant to be eligible for naturalization, they must become a United States citizen by living in the United States for at least five years with their green card, the have to submit an application and pass an exam, and they must participate in a ceremony by giving their Oath of Allegiance. I believe that is a fair arrangement for someone who wishes to become a U.S. citizen but I do not think that the obstacles and the illegal crossover are not fair. I wonder how people are able to better themselves without having to go through a hard time of reaching that
