Jews were treated very poorly inside ghettos.
The Holocaust took place during World War II. In this time period Jews were very poorly by the Germans. They fought back in various ways against the Germans.
During the Holocaust, Jews used armed and unarmed forms of resistance in order to retain their humanity.

Armed resistance was a way for Jews to fight back and feel like they were actually doing something to the Germans.
The armed revolution was a result of armed resistance. There were multiple ambushes in the ghettos from the Jews fighting the Germans.
They used weapons that they stole from the Germans to kill or injured them (“Resistance”).
Even though the Jews stole the Germans weapons the Germans retreated and came back with more firepower.
