The Interlopers is about two mans fighting over a land they both want. one of the man name is George Znaeym and the other is Ulrich, they both were fighting in the rain when a ighting bolt hit the tree and landed on top of them. George couldn't feel his legs and Ulrich couldn't feel nothing. They both tried to yell for help cause they had some people helping them and George said "if my mans come and get me out i'm going to kill you" and Ulrich said the same thing to George. In the end of the story they heard ten or nine people coming but instead they were a pack of wolves and they didn't tell us what happened

The Pacific coast port city of San Francisco, California provides a distinctively mysterious backdrop in Dashiell Hammett’s The Maltese Falcon. Unlike many other detective stories that are anchored in well-known metropolises such as Los Angeles or New York City, Hammett opted to place the events of his text in the lesser-known, yet similarly exotic cultural confines of San Francisco. Hammett used his own intricate knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area - coupled with details collected during a stint as a detective for the now defunct Pinkerton Agency - to craft a distinctive brand of detective fiction that thrived on such an original setting (Paul 93). By examining the setting of 1920’s San Francisco in The Maltese Falcon, it becomes apparent that one of Hammett’s literary strengths was his exceptional ability to intertwine non-fictional places with a fictional plot and characters in order to produce a logical and exceedingly believable detective mystery.

While we all have different opinions of what is right and wrong, most people have the same ideas to what is "socially acceptable." In the novel "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, the autistic main character Christopher Boone may not have the same views as the rest of us about what is right and what is wrong. Christopher Boone is a good-hearted boy but more unethical than ethical, yet most of the time unaware of his bad behavior due to his different views of the world. Does this make him "unethical" if his principles of right and wrong are different from everyone else's?
The High Plains Drifter by Clint Eastwood is my favorite western. The movie is very interesting. It has a lot of twist and turns that the viewers don’t see coming. I thought this was a great movie. It kept me on my seat and very interested. Clint Eastwood is an amazing director and actor. The way the scenes were shot and the sound effects for that time were great. Throughout the movie I noticed that there were a lot of messages. This was a movie that made me think all the way through. During movies I love to think of what’s going to happen next and how it’s going to end. This was like any other western I have ever seen in my life. I actually enjoyed a western movie for once.

Franco Zeffirelli portrayed a more effective version of the famous to be or not be soliloquy by having it set below in the family mortuary. Having violently rejected Ophelia, Hamlet climbs down the stoned stairs of the medieval castle and into the cellar where all his ancestors’ burial tombs lie, including his father’s. Surrounding himself in tombs and skeletons, he intones the to be or not to be speech in isolation and darkness. Having this particular set design, Zeffirelli enhanced the scene by creating a cold, dark, and suspenseful atmosphere. The family mortuary set design was eerie and melancholic which added realism into the speech as it allowed the audience to really see the manifestation of death that Hamlet contemplated. It also added physical emotion into the soliloquy as the scene contrasted death and Hamlet so closely with all the dead royals in their tombs, showing how deep Hamlet’s thoughts on life and death were rooted in his mind. Therefore, Zeffirelli’s use of the set design helped to create a more intense scene that enriched the soliloquy.
Two men, Henry and Bill go sledding with six dogs. Each night they camp in the merciless wilderness, a dog is killed by a wolf pack. The wolves come closer to camp every night, until there are three dogs left. One of the wolves is different and bigger then the rest, a she-wolf, who’s use to people and afraid of guns. One day the men’s sled overturned and got caught up in trees. They had to untie the dogs to fix things. One of the dogs saw the she-wolf and took off after her, only to be ambushed by a dozen wolves. The dog ran for his life, while Bill went with his gun to save him. Bill and the dog both became a meal to the wolves. A couple of nights later, so did the rest of the dogs. The only thing that saved Henry was sheltering in the middle of a fire he’d made. By the time the fire had died, other men came with sled dogs to his rescue.

It overwhelms the reader with terrifying descriptions of the wolf and shows the reader that the wolf is clearly something that strikes fear into the people in the story.
