The ethical dilemma occurred when Michael Baker refused to notified authority about Mr. Frank Thompson. Michael was a new history teacher who needed some tips for teaching his class. He became friends with Mr. Frank Thompson, who was cherished by the entire student body. When the opportunity came to cover Mr. Thompson’s class, Michael was glad to take it. He discerned that Mr. Thompson’s students did exceptionally well in his class so he wanted to discover how he can do the same for his students. He came to learn that Mr. Thompson gives out a list of questions for his students to study in preparations for the test. Those questions were usually in the test which clarifies why students did exceptionally well. Mr. Thompson also promised the class the same benefits for the state examination. At the point when Michael went up against Mr. Thompson about his ways of teaching, Mr. Thompson specified to him that it is not his business, accordingly Michael never told anybody. The audience does not know whether the students are actually being educated by Mr. Thompson’s teachings. The audience does not know if students made complaints about Mr. Thompson’s teaching style. I know that Mr. Thompson made a few calls to various sources and as a reader I do not know those sources. The audience does know that Mr. Thompson and Michaels are friends. They go out after work to have some beers and Mr. Thompson will give Michael some tips about having a successful class. Michael covered one of Mr. Thompson’s classes and found out how the students were passing Mr. Thompson’s class. Mr. Thompson gives out questions that will be on the test which in respects helps the students pass the exams.
