Imagery and tone comparison between “Farewell to Manzanar” and “Should You Trust the News”.

Louis Zamperini was captured by Japanese. He was tortured and beaten and was a relatable story to Manzanar because of how they were caputured and made to work and wasn’t treated fairly also like the Japanease. Farewell to Manzanar reminded me of this because how they were both captured because of who they were.

One way the authors reveals how the feel about their expeariance is through the use of imagery. First In the novel, “Farewell to Manzanar” by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston And James D. Houston and the article, “Can you Trust the News” by Lauren Tarshis, the two authors use of imagery are similar. For example, both make you revert back to a time in your life when something similiar has happened to you. But they’re diffrerent in which one relates to a bad time in your life like. How if you’ve been lied to compared to just relating to scenery in manzanar.
