The Pros of War For many Decades wars have been fought on the pretense of rage, hatred, greed and bitterness. Wars are gruesome, many lives are lost and forgotten, but heroes are established and countries are founded. Heroes such as Winston Churchill, whom wrote “We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender He defended his country, he died for his nation and for a cause that still remembers until this day. In America, we know that without the civil war that took place, here could one suggest that without the start of that civil war between the south and the North could black people still be ignored. The rights of the Jews if the other countries would have never stepped in and stop Hitler, we could have had one of the greatest annihilation of a race in our history War also helped bring about women’s right here in America as well during World War 2, as a country we began to see many women step in and take the place of Man while they fought in war, that movement alone helped bring about the notions of Women’s rights. During World War II, some 350,000 women served in the U.S. Armed Forces, both at home and abroad. They included the Women’s Airforce Service Pilots, who on March 10, 2010, were awarded the prestigious Congressional Gold Medal. Meanwhile, widespread male enlistment left gaping holes in the industrial labor force. Between 1940 and 1945, the female percentage of the U.S. workforce increased from 27 percent to nearly 37 percent, and by 1945 nearly one out of every four married women worked outside the home. (History 2010) Civil rights are vital to any country, the people are what help establish a country and when the people are burden, tired, and stressed it causes chaos. In every country everyone should have equal rights, everyone should be treated fairly. When prideful leaders violate this they violate other people rights. There are many countries where they are violated their country rights and because these countries don’t have much access, its not televised. Therefore, the people who are in authority do nothing to help, however when this continues its right and justifiable for another country to step in and save
