Several scientists studied multiple paranormal creatures for hundreds of years. Out of the countless paranormal creatures there has always been one that sticks out the most. There has been plenty movies along with books about this strange spirit, these creatures are known as poltergeists. Just the word poltergeist has a strange signification to it, they have been around longer than any living individual, likewise , they are also known for doing multiple things to people. The word poltergeist has a different expression than people think. It has many different points to it in different languages. A paragraph that explained poltergeist wrote “The word poltergeist takes its name from two German words, meaning 'to create a disturbance' (or more categorically to rumble, roll, or bluster), and 'spirit.”(Radford 6). The following are some other examples in different languages. In Arabic it means “evil soul”, in Spanish it means “mocking spirit”, in Italian it means “wicked along with noisy spirit”, also in Portuguese it mean “spirit that announces its presence through noises in addition it causes other brawl”.
