George Lopez was born on April 23rd in the year of 1961 in the Mission, Hills of Los Angeles, California. His father who was Anataso was a migrant worker who left his wife, Frieda for a different lifestyle. After Lopez was born, Frieda and George Moved in with his mom’s parents who tried to raise Lopez In her hometown of California. When George was a young kid his mother explained to him that his father had died. Even though, the real truth was that he was in fact alive but wanted nothing to do with his son who he had with his ex-wife. His mother soon remarried when George was only ten years of age. George Lopez had a very bad lookout on life as a whole from a very young age. Most of Lopez’s work comes from feeling of loneliness and abandonment since that’s all he knew. Soon after, Lopez played in a small role in the Carl Reiner’s thriller movie. After he played in this role he finally had his first comedy album called Alien Nation which appeared in 1996. From this point on out Lopez felt frustrated because he felt like he was not doing well enough and not preforming like he hoped to. But he did not give up because of his vow. George regained his sense of purpose after a local comedy manger helped him out. George Lopez is now climbing to the top of the totem pole and he is improving tremendously. In 1999 Lopez became the first Latino to host a major English-Language radio show for a Clear Channel Communications in the city of Los Angeles and it just happened to be at the top of the radio market. This was a very big step for Lopez because most radio host were black or white and not Latino. He was top ten on the charts for the best radio talk show host within the city. In the meantime while doing all the other great work he released his second live stand-up comedy album in the year of 2001 and it was called Right Now Right Now.
