Crowdsourcing for business solutions are very convenient for product improvement. The word crowdsourcing was generated by Jeff Howe in 2006, in an article which labeled a new way of finding people who are prepared to support or work on development. People with enough time can lend a lot of available manpower for company in decision making. Manual responsibilities such as labeling massive amounts of pictures, instead of reaching out to to a huge company, it’s more likely and inexpensive to use a crowdsourcing market like Amazon. The term crowdsourcing has been in our society for years to help situations and to also help products grow. Video game demo’s offers are a method of crowdsourcing, where a video game developer releases a demo version of the game to the public for testing. These actions have been used by the software industry for years, where certain video games are reviewed by crowdsourcing businesses; however others are tested by citizens. Crowdsourcing is often used for translation purposes. For example, companies like Facebook has been using crowdsourcing to translate its website into more compatible languages since 2008 for the entire world. Websites such as Wikipedia can be also considered as crowdsourcing as well: it’s an encyclopedia written by folks from different parts of world, like experts. Corporations these days do not only employ Research and Development (R&D) teams, they may list the glitches they’re fixing to the public as a way to reach out to those out there that can maybe help. Certain establishments even offer huge rewards for solving any kind issues on crowdsourcing site like InnoCentive.
