When I grow up I will become a soccer player. I will become this because I really love the sport. I have played for soccer for seven years and I don’t plan to quit. I play as a forward on a select soccer team named the St. Louis Prospects. When I become a soccer player professionally my job responsibilities will be to compete in athletic events. I will get to play in season games and championship games. My work environment will be outside on a soccer field. It will also be at my home whenever I am practicing by myself. And when its off season I will drive to the soccer fields and have a session there by myself to improve my foot skill and technique. I could also go to soccer camps. It all depends what league you’re in. In the MLS soccer players don’t make as much money as they do in foreign countries because there’s more of a fan base in foreign countries. But people have averaged it up and the salary ranges all the way from $60,000 to $50,000,000. Hopefully I can get the money I deserve in the pros. I can achieve this by getting on a Spanish club. The future outlook of soccer looks very good. I believe the sport is continuing to grow and it’s not going to stop. The reason I think this is because people love to watch it and play it. According to many websites soccer is the most popular sport in the world. With that proof I believe that soccer is not going to stop for a long time. If I don’t make the pros I could still use my athletic skill to have a career. There are many similar occupations of a soccer player such as , P.E. teacher, fitness trainer and a soccer manager. I played soccer since I was seven, as of the last few years I played at a very high level. I have represented Ohio South two times at a regional showcase, I have been invited to participate in a camp in Manchester, England and attended the camp twice. Also last Season for the Newark High School soccer team I was named first team all league and third team all central district. Soccer was the first sport I truly loved to do, I wanted to be the best. I work hours upon hours to master whatever part of the game I wanted to improve on. Soccer has taught me to have a great work ethic, and that mentality came when I was cut from the state team the first time I tried out. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me, I was destroyed, and I thought I was not good but I knew I could do better. The next year I worked, I got bigger, stronger, faster, my soccer I.Q. was higher;therefore, overall I was a much better player. The result of that work, was that I made the team, but not only, I made the starting line up. After that I knew I could accomplish anything I put my mind to.

From an early age I always knew I would be playing soccer my whole life. My dad showed me the ropes of how to play and got me interested right away. By the age of three I had started playing, and to this day I have not stopped. Soccer has been a huge part of my life and I don’t know where I would be today if I never played. I met some amazing people playing soccer including my coaches who encouraged me and told me never to give up as well as my teammates who became my friends and were always there for me.
The impact that soccer has had on the United States has drastically changed the American society and it will continue to mold the culture for years to come. Soccer, in one or more ways, has had some part in the lives every American citizen, whether it be the money spent by the government on stadiums and professional teams, or the time spent watching and playing the game. Although the sport did not have a strong early presence in American lives it has substantially grown in recent years, thus effectively popularizing soccer in every corner of the globe. The sport plays an important role in modern American society and has a bright future ahead of it.
Soccer is my passion, I love soccer with all my heart. But, I remember when I used to suck at it. I remember the first time I went to go try out for a club team, I wanted to quit playing right after that practice. Everyone was so good at the sport and I didn’t have any experience. But, I kept trying and I got better and better. I finally went to a team that was more my level, and we’ve all grown up together as a very strong team. I’m glad I kept going with soccer, it’s such a fun sport to play. My biggest dream is to get looked at by a college and get a scholarship in soccer. But, for that to happen, I have to work really hard for my goal to play in college. My last symbol is a paint brush. I love to draw, even though I’m not the best at it I still practice to get better at it. I also love looking at art because it’s so beautiful. What I love about art is that it tells a story and you have to figure out what that story is.
While I have developed my soccer skills over the years, the relationships I have built with people are treasured more than my ability to play the game. Playing soccer has granted me the opportunity to be surrounded by an extensive family of people who truly love me. I am forever indebted to the sport for bringing me into love-filled relationships with players and coaches alike.
One of the all time great quarterbacks Michael Vick once said, I have always been an outstanding football player, I have always had uncanny abilities, great arm strength, an immense ability to play the game from a quarterback standpoint. The object of the game is to score goals by kicking or heading the ball into the opponent 's ' goal.” When I think about the thing I’m most passionate about, soccer pops into my head right away. Soccer represents more than just a game to me. The sport gives me an outlet distract me from the real world, it taught me to overcome a battle that shaped my character, and my teammates bring out the best in me.
My dream job in the future would be professional football player. I have loved the game of football since I was a little kid because it’s a good sport and you can tackle the player and catch and do anything in the sport as long as you follow the rules.
