Change has always been for the better, but when it comes to change in technology; it’s not necessary that the change is going to be good. Technology has been advancing rapidly and is given more importance now than ever before. Every day, technology enhances our modern lifestyle. Although electronics allow us to connect and communicate our ideas with people, they also brainwash us into spending more time using our devices rather than spending quality time with friends and family. The issue of being harassed is becoming so widely spread that they have to propose this idea into court. Being overly attached/addicted to our electronics involves and exposes us to things like inappropriate websites, illegal downloading of pirated movies, songs, hacking accounts, harassing people and shifting ourselves away from facing reality. Our obsession can cause us to appear differently to others online and in reality its impacts can affect our lives and take control of our emotions as well as our beliefs. We shouldn’t allow technology to drive us rather we need to be in control of technology; how we use it, how much time we spend on the internet and our phones. If we control it now we can control it in the future.
