Petting My Dog for The First Time My first memory of touch comes from when I was roughly three years old. My family got our first dog, Max, after my siblings begged our parents for one. My first memory of touch was when I petted him for the very first time. The memory of petting my dog is very special to me because I care for dogs so much and I will always remember it because Max was my first dog. The purpose of this paper is to tell my reaction to this touch, why I remember this touch, what memories of my touch have meant to me and still mean to me, and how my memory of touch has affected me and me life since. To begin, the food we eat can trigger our thoughts and memories of the times we had with our loved ones. Do you know that if you buy a pet from a pet store, there will be some animals die in the shelters? Although we started to live with our new family June 4, 2004, we officially got adopted on February 18, 2005. This family was very ice and made us feel like we were at home. We were sad that we could not stay with the other family we did enjoy this family too. The first summer we lived with them we went to Disney world ,which was a lot of fun. I remember being super scared on a ride that was like the power tower but it was dark, and being 6 I was scared out of my mind.
Service dogs can help disabled people with many different tasks. Service dogs when in public are often seen wearing a specialized vest or tag identifying the animals as a services dog when they are working. Service dogs are allowed in places that other pets are not allowed to go. Any dog can be a service dog. A dog does not have to be specially trained to be a service dog. There are many different kinds of service dogs. I am not talking about breeds, I am talking about the different jobs that service dogs do.
As a kid, I fell in love with the idea of getting a puppy for Christmas. Wrapped in a small box with a bow on top sitting under the tree just like the movies and tv shows I had seen. I can remember making a Christmas list of all the things I wanted that year, and every year the same thing that I wanted had said “puppy” with it underlined so that my mother knew which was my favorite on the list. Every year no surprise, I didn’t find a dog. I never understood why I never received one. When the kids at school talked about the few dogs they had at home made me so jealous, but I hoped that one day it would be me to have my own best friend at home.

This is a bond that will last a lifetime. Once man and dog bond there is no separation between them. They will become a well oiled machine.
