Growing Equality between Men and Women It is proven that gender equality is very vital and fundamental since it is considered an effective way of addressing democracy and also promoting lasting economic growth. It is one of the founding principles of European Unions and even its future building block. This has therefore led to various causes in respect to equality between men and women since women are seen to be achieving more in education and also actively participating in the labor force than ever before. This is because everyone will be given a fair ground so as to participate in the decision-making process. The issues addressed in the decision-making process will also be given equal consideration and in the end the society will have accomplished its aim of better decision making. The need and interest of the people will also be met because society will have unity due to the removed sense of inequality. Research has also shown that growing equality between men and women will be able to reduce the poverty level in the society.
