I remember Bruno hiding things from me in the past so I have no doubt that he’s hiding something now. It seems like every day at the same time he’s not to be found and I’m going to get to the bottom of it. “Gretel, I’m going to the store please watch Bruno and make sure he doesn’t go anywhere.” “Ok mom” I said as I was acting like I was annoyed but secretly I was buzzing with excitement because today I’m following Bruno and I’m going to find out where he’s going everyday. As I watch mom leave I notice that Bruno on his tire swing watching me intently. I walk back inside the house and try to think of a plan to follow him. I’m going to keep an eye on him and when I see him walking, I’ll secretly follow him. I go to see if he’s still on the tire swing and to my surprise I see that he’s gone. …show more content…

I check back outside and see that the fence that’s usually closed is open and I have no doubt that that is where he went. I look down and see a trail of breadcrumbs so I follow it and what say at the end shocked me. I see Bruno talking to another little boy on the other side of the fence. I was in so much shock that I didn’t know what to do or say instead of saying something I ran home in hopes that dad or mom was home so I can tell them right away. When I got home I saw that dad was home so I ran up to him and blurted everything out to him so fast that I couldn’t even understand myself. “Calm down” said my dad in a confused way. I say everything again a lot slower and calmer and I see my dads face drop and rush outside to get Bruno but Bruno already came home a few minutes before. At the same time mom came home and I saw dad rush out to her and take her to a room to tell her everything that I saw and what Bruno was
