For this specific diario I will be covering the importance that Miguel de Cervantes made to Spanish culture. His most important and well known book is Don Quijote. This book has changed the literature world and culture universally. His way of writing is like our Shakespeare's. He was always in favor of chivalry. Therefore he contributed to romanticism and the way women were treated. This romanticism towards women was spread universally so we start seeing a difference in how men would ask them to date and marry them. His book was immensely important it went from being published in Spain to being published worldwide and being studied. Cervantes set a new base of writing for future writers just like Shakespeare.
