Buying a house and adopting a child. At first glance they seem drastically different from one another. Both require you to go through different methods. It’s easier to purchase a house than to adopt a child. They both can take a while to get to, but adoption can take up to years. Children are a wonderful gift from God and sadly not everyone can conceive a child, and almost anyone can buy a house. It may be a terrible house in a terrible neighborhood, but it’s a roof over your head. As much as these actions are different they have a great deal of similarities. Morbidly enough, adopting a child in some cases can cost money. Even with adopting from the state there might be some type of fee. But going through a private agency or plan on adopting from another country that’s when the cost starts to skyrocket. You could always use an adoption attorney, but the price may not be much different than an agency. Everybody knows you must spend money on a house. You BUY or RENT a house, just isn’t handed to you. Before this, I never thought adoption would cost anything. Call me naive, but adoption is rarely shown on in the media that often. You wouldn’t choose a house a house near a busy highway or in the “rough part of town”. You choose a location is the foundation of buying a house. Similarly, when looking for a child to adopt you are obligated to find the right agency from the area you desire to adopt from. After you find the right location or agency, you start your search. By law, the real estate agent has to legally disclose everything wrong with the house. Much like how when looking for a child they inform if there is any medical conditions or past abuse with the said child. By being up front you know what you will be responsible for.
