There is one famous quote by Winston Churchill, that motivates me every day, whether I am working at my job, or doing studies, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
This quote relates so much to me because at times I find some things need an extra push to be able to achieve your goal. My sister is a perfect example of this quote because she always wanted to be on time, whether it be studying for tests, deadlines for things, or getting a head start before everyone. My lifetime goal is to do anything to be successful in life, whether it means to go the extra mile, and to help anyone in need in the process too. Why should I choose a school that is rigorous and challenging? I have learned in my four years of high school that it is not only about getting A's in your report cards, but your determination of becoming the best in your class. Determination is an excellent quality of mine. It has made me the excellent, accomplished student, I have been working for all of high school. My classes currently being taken are showing me the real deal about college and that it will not be easy later, but if you have your mind and determination you can achieve anything you want.
National Honor Society is a club that makes students the leaders of today. My involvement in this society has shaped me into a sculpture of what the meaning of leadership really means. Whether it was donating food to our local food bank, or packing backpacks filled with school supplies and to hand them out to less fortunate students. There have been so many experiences that have made me want to go the extra mile and help out the people in need. This is where the church plays an important role in my life, because it makes them realize there's more to life than materialistic things. This can change the youth's perspectives on helping the importance of helping one in need, or people who are lost in themselves. Helping out at church is a very great love and passion for me. It has made me realize that we all have struggles and that if we work together as one to help one another spiritually or emotionally then we have accomplished the world. What are my goals in the next 5-10 years? I plan to succeed in all of my future goals for the next five to ten years.
