I am comparing and Contrasting Charles Bass also know as Chuck, from the TV series Gossip Girl and Tony Stark also know as Ironman, from the Marvel movies. Although Chuck Bass and Tony Stark seem to have basically nothing in common, I mean one is a super hero and one is basically an antihero what could they possible have in common? Both characters are excessively wealthy, go through many struggles with their family especially with their fathers, have many secrets and go through journeys that turns them into better men. I basically fell in love with the character Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl; because he seems like the ultimate rich “bad boy” but then has hopes, dream and feeling. He has many layers and eventually defies the odds and becomes fairly good person; it does not hurt that his is also extremely attractive. Then there is Tony Stark my favorite super hero he is the most realistic super hero character with all his flaws and failings, he tries to make himself seem very unreal but then we see how very real he is underneath all of his geniuses and wealth; also extremely attractive. In the beginning of Gossip Girl Chuck Bass is portrayed as a very wealthy gets everything he wants, wild, reckless, "bad boy" of the Upper East Side who …show more content…

Making the suit is much easier than fighting Mandarin. Iron Man gets more skill by wearing the suit and learning how to use the suit. Iron Man’s greatest fear is the bits of shrapnel in his chest. Iron Man’s Abyss is when his suit is taken over. Iron Man’s revelation is when he develops a serious dependency of alcohol. At the beginning of his journey in the suit he is a bit cocky as well. “You’re not a man, you’re nothing- more than a manic. I’m not afraid of you, no politics here, just good old fashion revenge” (tony stark, google). Iron Man is wiser because he realized that you should never give up. His imbalance is fixed by making the suit and saving his life and the people around him. “I had my- eyes opened. I came to realize that i had more to offer this world than just making thing blow up” (tony stark, google). His injustice is fixed by making the suit. Iron Man’s gift is he gets his suit.
