Christopher Paul Gardner is a millionaire American entrepreneur, philanthropist and motivational orator, he is famous because his life inspired the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness" starring Will Smith. The fascinating story of Christopher Gardner not only served to bring it to the big screen, but also as an example for the whole society. This was a single parent, without resources and having lived on San Francisco’s streets with his young son, through effort and perseverance he achieved overcome obstacles and founded a large company.

This is not right. For Jefferson, happiness was not to be equated with hedonism. For them, happiness was freedom to use their time, talent and resources to live a life they thought would bring them the greatest satisfaction, and would benefit family, friends, fellow man, and future generations. The meaning of "the pursuit of happiness" is still the same
