The topic of Christian Apologetics is one that has been developed and studied with much diligence through the years; a large amount of history and documentation have been reviewed and preserved to paint a clear picture of the great fight that has been fought throughout all of time to bring salvation to all mankind. Paul said in I Timothy 6:12 that we are to “Fight the good fight of faith,” and many have heeded Paul’s advice and have earnestly contended “for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” There have been many great saints of God who have taken up the Christian banner and marched forward in faith for the Lord Jesus Christ in an effort to defend and deliver the Gospel to the next generation.

This is the simplest lie that the devil has ever told to man and throughout the ages there have always been men who have believed the devil’s lie. Psalm 14:1 says “The fool hath said in his heart there is no God.” It is a dangerous and an arrogant statement to profess oneself as the lord of their own life rather than to acknowledge God as the giver of all things.
In addition to Atheism there are many other philosophies that have sought to provide man with another hope for eternal life rather than the life promised through Christ. All of the world’s counterfeit philosophies tend to bring confusion to man by either stating that man does not truly exist or God does not truly exist or that their existence cannot be proven through evidence. Man in all of his knowledge will do everything in his power to disprove the existence of God rather than believing by faith that God does exist. One cannot truly defend the Christian faith without understanding these false religions and philosophies. The Apostle Paul gives instructions in II Timothy 2:15 that the Christian should “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” It is of utmost importance that the Christian studies the word of God; it is also important to study and learn about the opposition facing the church that is represented in these false teaching.
