Chess Chess is a game, played by two players. One player plays with the white pieces, and the other player plays with the black pieces. Each player has sixteen pieces in the beginning of the game: one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns. The game is played on a chessboard, consisting of 64 squares: eight rows and eight columns. The squares are alternately light (white) and dark colored. The board must be laid down such that there is a black square in the lower left corner. To facilitate notation of moves, all squares are given a name. From the view of the white player, the rows are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8; the lowest row has number 1, and the upper row has number 8. The columns are named, from left to right, a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h. Thus, at the second row, there are eight white pawns, at the seventh row; there are eight black pawns. At the first row, from left to right, we have a: rook, knight, bishop, queen, king, bishop, knight, and rook. Note that the queens start of squares of their own color, with a dark square in each player's left hand corner. Alternately, the players make a move, starting with the white player (the player that plays with the white pieces.) A move consists of moving one of the pieces of the player to a different square, following the rules of movement for that piece. A player can take a piece of the opponent by moving one of his own pieces to the square that contains a piece of the opponent. The opponent's piece then is removed from the board, and out of play for the rest of the game. The rook moves in a straight line, horizontally or vertically. The rook may not jump over other pieces, that is: all squares between the square where the rook starts its move and where the rook ends its move must be empty. The bishop moves in a straight diagonal line. The bishop may also not jump over other pieces. The queen has the combined moves of the rook and the bishop, the queen may move in any straight line, horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. The knight makes a move that consists of first one step in a horizontal or vertical direction, and then one step diagonally.
The knight is not very smart; he does not think about the consequences of his actions. Raping the girl is one example. In this act, he is guided only by his desires, without considering how right they are. But he doesn't think about the punishment either. The knight lives only for the present moment.
As the reader follows the novel and reads deeper into the book, they find that the conflict is person vs. person, or the game itself, with the heirs trying to win the game. In the beginning, the heirs of Sam Westing started playing the Westing Game, and all the players, or heirs, got paired up with their partners that they would have for the rest of the game (38). With Turtle as the protagonist, she has the same predicament as all
Board breaking is often exhibited as an incredible talent performed by martial artists at demonstrations or tournaments in order to show off strength. This isn’t true, however, as breaking is an illustrated example of a perfected technique as one would use in a real situation. The accuracy, strength, and power of these techniques is demonstrated through the break. Many people are amazed by breaking, but don’t fully understand how truly easy it is. Breaking can be explained by both the physics behind the act and the mental aspects of the preparation of the break.

It was 11:50 at night when Dan saw a link on how to carry out this game. It was a game of bravery that begins at midnight and ends at three thirty-three in the morning, the time… it leaves.
The tournament starts at 7:30 p.m., but the entry fee must be paid before that. After paying, all there is to do is wait. When they call your name and table it’s time to play. It’s a race to four wins. To keep track of the games place a coin under the middle diamond. Every game won constitutes a move of the coin one diamond. The winner goes to the front counter and gives them the results.

The first knight’s name was Abdul. The name Abdul can be translated to meaning, “servant of the powerful.” He had been born into becoming a knight and had lived as one ever since he became of age. In other words, his name fit him well. He was content with his duties, for it was the only lifestyle he had ever known. The second knight was Aqil. The name Aqil can be translated to meaning, “wise and intelligent.” He became a knight by using his wits to save the kings life, but that’s another story. The third knight was Faris. The name Faris can be translated to meaning, “knight.” He was bound to be a knight from day one.

He must learn to accept his responsibility as a knight, in accepting his fate.
There are no physical limitations yet it seems like you are in the checkmate position. Just like in the game of chess, you can not make a move in any direction.
Both are playing a game to see who is tougher, if one swerves they are not considered tough but rather a chicken, one that goes straight is a tough person. If the individual deviates, they receive -1 points while the tough person that went straight receives 1 point. When the both swerve they both, receive no points because they both chickened out and are not considered tough. When both players go straight both receive a -2, because they get injured or die.
A game point is when the player in the lead has one more point until they win. A breakpoint is when the receiver has point until they win.
The first algorithm is one of brute force, appropriately named the brute force algorithm, it involves the use of a computer to place the knight at a random or given square and then test for open possibilities for the knight to move in its iconic “L” shape pattern. It will iterate the board until a solution is reached, even with current technology it is extremely impractical on larger boards.
