An experience that has caused me to change my perspective, would be my entire high school experience. Going through high school has completely changed my view on various topics and it has been completely mind blowing. I know that some may say that a high school social life is not important and that everything changes later on, but I do not believe that is true. While in high school I have discovered who I truly am and what I actually want to do with my life. Yes, it may change as I go throughout life but to me it is unlikely that I will completely change my career path or view of life. I do not “blame” it all on the students, not even their parents nor their teachers but, I do blame it on society. Our society has created the idea that someone can succeed without an education, or that decisions that are wrong are actually right, which is not true. This has completely changed the mindset of millions of students across the country. Personally, I believe that knowledge is the key to a successful life and career. Without an education most of the world’s population would go down the drain. Our society needs to be well-educated which can eventually lead to a strong and successful alliance. It all starts with a high school education or even a middle school education, and from there on it blossoms. The idea that everything starts in high school has deeply affected me and it has allowed me to value my education even more than when I first started high school. Overall, I feel that people can change how they act from substandard to exceptional which ultimately changes their entire life. The idea of helping students and encouraging students to engage in after school tutoring has come across my mind
