In 1973 an inventor by the name Martin Cooper developed the first cell phone that was approved for commercial use. Since cell phone first invent they have gone massive changes and become more advanced, from bag phones to phones look like bricks, and from tiny phone to every day smart phone, cell phones are always changing. The advancement in technology, changed our relationship with the phone and changed the way we behave. Making calls in public places, some love it, others hate it. Today we live in a world of continues communication, everywhere we look, people are calling, texting or taking pictures with their phones. Cell phones now has been known to kill thousands of people. Lately there has not been a day where there is no accident, death or injury due to someone driving while using their cell phone. On May 17th, 2013, fox 4 news “teen dies in accident while texting”. Fox9.com “police: Byron teen killed in crash on first day of school was texting”. CBS 6 news “Girl’s heartbreaking story will make you think twice before texting while driving”. These were just 3 examples of how texting and driving could be so dangerous, yet we chose to ignore it. Over the past years there have been way too many innocent people that are losing their lives due to the reckless drivers that are around. Drivers must give a 100% of their attention to the road. Some of us love them so much that constantly have to have them in our hands. Sure that our whole life might be on cell phone, however we should not let it be the reason to end our life in a car crash.
