Caregiving Essay For Child Care

In this assignment we are given to topics to choose from of the lesson: Caregiving. Caregiving is very important today in our families everyday life because we have all been cared for from when we were younger and till we are older. But there seems to be controversy about caregiving today for many Canadian Families, Many families are facing troubles with income looking for child care and as well as elderly care. The topic i am interested to talk about is childcare, Today there is not enough places that can take children because there are so full and not only that expensive. Now a days parents get on a list just before their child is even born. Alot has been taken into consideration and tried to figure out a better solution to help fix this on going issue but there hasn't been a happy medium' founded yet.

Many families today face financial issues overall. With childcare there are not many places that are easy to get into and not only that but they are extremely expensive. But there are many solutions and helping facilities that help many families across Canada. There is a Universal child care benefit plan that provides a monthly allowance of one hundred dollars per month per child to canandian families to support the cost of childcare. This plan is only paid to those who are under six years of age. The way it is paid, is directly, from there they choose which type of child care is best beneficial to the child. There is also Child tax benefit and other income tax deductions. As well as the monthly income there are also subsidies which vary from family to family which ranges from their income, type of child care, family sizes as well as the ages of children. The reason why i chose to talk about childcare is because my mother is a single parent with only one sustainable income, and doesn't get alot from the other half. I am extremely lucky to have my grandparents who have helped us financially and also have helped us with our child care from when we were babies to now. I feel child care there are many solutions to help people out with well providing child care. But there still needs to be more awareness to the fact that alot aren't meeting the minimal skills they need in life so their child aren't able to succeed because they simply aren't getting a well education so they can't get jobs or go to higher schooling.
