What I think is about birth tourism is very helpful to these immigrant families who come to the United States. Yes, I am aware that there are some negative sides to this birth tourism, but the way I see it these parents do this because they want their child to be able to live the American dream and have opportunities the parent themselves were never able to achieve in their home country. These parents aren’t thinking about themselves, they think about the future of the baby. That’s the problem with people who are focusing on the negative side of the whole birth tourism dilemma, they fail to try to understand why some families do this, for they know the parent might have come from a third world country where education for girls is not really
