That's living your dream” (Marlon Wayans). The career path I have selected for my future is to become an orthodontist. Since I was a young child with braces, I have always dreamed about pursuing some type of career in the dental field. Becoming an orthodontist has numerous advantages including opportunities of establishing a steady job, being able to help others with their oral health, earning excellent money, and acquiring a flexible work schedule. To become an orthodontist is a goal I would love to see myself succeed in because it opens door for copious opportunities as a career. The job economy of dentist is one in constant high demand, so I will be confident when establishing my own business. Due to the fact that orthodontics care corrects teeth alignment, I foresee people who are self-conscious about their teeth appearance keeping the business alive with their service. Being an orthodontist will not limited me by learning excellent hygiene techniques but my career will give me the opportunity to give back to my patient by teaching them the importance of taking care of the only set of teeth you are given as an adult, and as far as children are concerned, it is important to teach them the importance of routine brushing techniques to avoid future oral complications such as developing mouth diseases.
