What is the book basically all about? Well it’s all about a man named Bruce Wayne which is batman of course. When he was little he saw his parents get killed right in front of him and ever since he has been fighting crime. That’s when the Joker, Harley Quinn, Bane and even more villains came into the story. In the book Batman killed the joker but he is speculating that he didn’t fully kill him. Commander Gordon was thinking this to because the joker was a huge threat to Gotham and it would be bad if the joker wasn’t dead. Why did I like the book? The book kept me on the edge of my seat with all the suspense going on within Gotham city and Bruce Wayne himself. Same with the movies but the movies didn’t have as much detail as the book. Also batman has been around me since 10 years old so I’ve been a huge supporter of the series. So I would say no the story really didn’t make me guess at all when I was reading the book. My favorite part of the book was when batman had to fake his death. Well since he faked his death it had more to go in the series which was nightfall. All of his friends and loved ones hosted him a funeral and everyone was sad. Everyone didn’t know he was dead though which was getting me on the edge of my seat and got me speculating all of this and what would happen if Bruce would show his face to all of this loved ones and friends and see their reaction to him being alive. In the book there really wasn’t a lot of sad scenes but a lot of action scenes such as him fighting scarecrow and Harley Quinn. Batman even went up Gordon and asked him for some help for one of his missions. There was the once scene where batman was even fighting The Penguin and it was an excellent scene and I would rate that scene 10 out of
