Should professional athletes/entertainers receive a high-paid salary? Athletes and professional entertainers deserve a high paid salary: spend time, give audience excitement, sacrifice privacy, be a good role model, and open foundations. Living like a professional athlete and an entertainer means you have to be determined, devoted, and able to make time for your career. In other words, they work just as hard as any other job to achieve their goals, and they deserve money for their accomplishments. It is easy to see that being an athlete/entertainer is not an easy job, or a job that doesn’t take time. For example, professional entertainers or athletes use up most of their time practicing for their championships, concerts, or performances, to make sure their skills are perfected. As an athlete, you are always being looked by the media and society. They are constantly bothered because fans/media want to know more about you, but your privacy is invaded. Living this kind of life, does have its benefits, but their privacy is always limited. They can not go shopping or do regular things without wearing a disguise. When you go to the media, sometimes you’ll see rumors about famous people, because they can’t always have a free life without people talking about them. Paparazzi’s are always taking pictures, and asking you questions that you don’t want to answer. Having a job like this requires doing things: interviews, meeting people, and traveling. Their time always puts into their job, and entertainers don’t always have the option to separate their social life with their free time. They are always bothered by the press, which wants details about their life, and their plans for their future. They are basically trading privacy for money and fame. Most of the time, they don’t have the answers to their questions, and are shown as a bad role
