What do you think of when you hear the name Ariana Grande? You may know her as the famous, award winning singer, but there is a lot more to her than that. Ariana Grande has become one of the most well-known singers in the world, but she wasn’t always as confident as she is now. She was born in Boca Raton, Florida on June 26, 1993. Growing up, Ariana dealt with a lot of bullying. She went through a lot to make it to where she is today, and that’s why her story is so inspiring. There were many obstacles that she had to overcome. In school, Ariana was bullied a lot. Many people said and did things that put her down and made her feel like she would never be successful, but that didn’t stop her. She spent countless hours singing and working on her voice. She traveled all over the place for auditions until she finally landed the role as Charlotte in the Broadway musical, 13. During her time in the musical, Ariana was often made fun of by other kids in the cast, but she never quit. After 13 ended, she appeared in the musical, Cuba Libre. After that, Ariana went on to play Cat Valentine in Nickelodeon’s show, Victorious. She continued to play Cat after Victorious ended on a new show called Sam & Cat. She won a Kids Choice Award for favorite TV actress for her role on that show. Then, she realized that her real passion was singing, so she worked extremely hard and spent hours recording. She released her first two solo albums within a year of each other. Now, she is one of the most famous singers in the world. Her story can teach a very valuable lesson to
