Never did I ever think I would sit here and write an article about Taylor Swift. However her recent debut of "Look at What you Made Me Do" made think about her career through a business' lifecycle. Why? Just think about how successfully she has been able re-brand herself; not only as singer, but jump and influence different genres so easily!

So, let's view Swift's journey as we would a business lifecycle.

1. Seed

This stage is the foundation of any company. It is where we a company has just began. One that Swift may want to forget based on the ending of her new music video.

Between 2004 - 2006 Swift's humble country girl music; she came on stage angelic and approached the music world like a girl next door. She like any business was making a name for herself. Growth

Growth in business is defined periods were a company develops and expands. Let's review Swift's peak periods of growth:

From 2008–2010: Fearless and acting became her debut into Pop.
Then, 2010–2014: Speak Now and Red where she still stuck to her core strength: country, however branched into other genres safely enough for her to remove from that image of "girl next door" which was fed into more when Kanya reduced her to tears.
First Genre Re-brand

Between 2014–2016: 1989 became Swift's musical initiation into the Pop genre. It took Swift 10 years to move away completely from the image she built when she started, and most impressively from her country music roots.
3. Establish

Taylor Swift becomes a household names. During every period Swift was established as an artist, however she was able to re-brand into different genres of music and preemptively knew she has matured.
