I choose Tom Hanks to play the role as Tony Marston. Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors to this day. I’ve watched movies featuring him in them since I was young. I felt as if Tom Hanks could take this role because he is known to become the person he is trying to portray in the movie. Almost as if it was natural to him. I think Tom would be able to bring his role alive and the suspense in the movie that it has in the original.
I would give Justice Wargrave’s role to Robert Duvall. I believe this would be a good role for him, because he has already played roles as a judge in different movies. He is of older age and more fitting for the part. This is a big role to fill and Robert Duvall has done it before and can do it again for this movie. He would definitely be able to bring the

Rogers. I choose her because she has been a nominee for many awards in her career. Her career started over 40+ years ago. Every role Jessica has taken, she has been successful. She is able to fit in her very well. She fills very big parts in the TV series American Horror Story. One part of the series she plays as an old witch named Fiona Goode, which she acted very well and has been awarded for.
I would give Anne Hathaway the role of Vera Claythorne. Anne Hathaway is one of my favorite female actors. She has played many roles in many great TV shows and movies. Some of best projects she has been in include Princess Diaries, Alice in Wonderland, and my favorite Ella Enchanted. She also has voiced over in many animated projects including The Simpsons and Hoodwinked. I would give the role of Dr. Armstrong to Ian McKellen. Ian McKellen has been acting for a very long time. He is currently 79 years old. His older age fits well in Dr. Armstrong’s part in the movie. He has taken many parts in many different movies. Some of his best roles he is known for are Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings, Magneto in X-Men, and Cogsworth in Beauty and the
The question of who is the best actor is quite the difficult choice, as there are many criteria to account for, such as their range, talent,
We all watch these TV shows and we fall in love with them. Sometimes we even fall in love with the people in the show and binge watch the show just because we love the one character. Or we even have that one character that we loathe and wish was never on the show, but we still watch the show because you want to see what happens to the character we hate. For me, I absolutely love Gabriela Dawson from Chicago Fire and she watch that show every Tuesday night at 10/9c. On the other hand, I absolutely loathe Gemma Teller from Sons of Anarchy. Both these characters are strong women that do what they think is best for the people they love, however Gemma does it in a way that I do not agree with.
Do you know the person who played Ellie in Ice Age? It's a person who inspires many. Queen Latifah is a hero because she shows women that they can do anything if they put their mind into it, through the roles she plays and her talk show. Before Queen Latifah was famous, her real name was Dana Owens (Pettinella 5). Dana was born on March 18, 1970.
One of the most interesting choices of the movie is how Joseph McCarthy’s impact on America is portrayed. For one, Clooney did not cast anyone to play the role of Senator McCarthy.
Lucille Ball Lucille Ball has made significant and positive contributions to the country with her comedy. Many consider her America's best female actress. Kathleen Brady, in fact, says, "Lucille Ball is one of the greatest performing artists America has produced" (ix). Throughout her career, Ball has not only been a comedienne, but also a superb businesswoman, an excellent role model, and has won numerous awards.
Drew Ardis is evidently very good at voice impressions, knowing the drastic difference from his voice in real life, and the voice he gave to the character he played, the voice he was able to crank out was stellar. The voice reminded me of the Doctor’s voice from the Arsenic and Old Lace movie, it was very
The best fit was Rob Lowe as Sodapop. In the book, Ponyboy described Sodapop as good looking, and indeed he was! Rob Lowe has a caring personality and he portrayed that in the movie. When Ponyboy came home late and Darry was yelling at him, Sodapop stepped in and told Darry to stop. Another great actor that did a wonderful job in the movie was Matt Dillon as Dally. In the book, Dally was described as a tough guy. Matt Dillon perfectly played this role because he showed his tough side most of the time but also showed his caring side towards Johnny. A poor choice for the actors in this movie was C. Thomas Howell as Ponyboy. He looked too old for his role. An example of this was when Johnny was cutting his hair and C. Thomas Howell's reactions was poor. Finally, when Ponyboy would talk, it was hard to understand him due to his accent but mainly because fact that he didn't articulate his lines well
He received the People’s Choice Award of Favourite Comedic Movie Actor because of films like “50 First Dates”, “Grown Ups”, “Just Go with It”, “That’s My Boy” and “Grown Ups 2”.
Bette Davis was perfect for the role. Bette Davis, like Margo her onscreen character, was a 40 year old actress who was insecure about her role in filmography due to her age. It was a common perception that women over 40 could not survive in the industry, and Bette Davis felt the same. The parallel
... He really sold the part and did the part justice. Furthermore in the beginning of the flashback I had no idea who the main character was, but Christian developed the character subtly yet effectively.
All characters in the movie were played well by the actors in my opinion. They
De Niro is very good in the lead role as Michael. He is totally convincing throughout the movie, bringing authenticity to the role. He has a certain enigmatic quality and stoicism that serves the character well, especially in the
To start to picture the film, I began to think of the actors I would choose to portray the main characters of the movie. I pictured Kit as a rather frail, pretty, blonde character perhaps played by Gwyneth Paltrow. Port should be played by an actor who can generate a sense of strength and independence as shown by the character in the book. He should be a masculine individual, but definitely have a quiet, introspective side. I would like to see Harrison Ford or a similar actor play this part. Tunner should be portrayed with the right mix of good looks and charm combined with a devious underlying air which causes one to question his motives. Perhaps an actor such as Hank Azaria would be a good Tunner.
A perfect movie character is one that the audience can form a complex, personal relationship with in the short time that a movie is viewed, displaying the art of acting and drama perfectly. When the thought of lovable movie characters is brought up, Johnny Depp will almost always be apart of the discussion. With his quirky, lively attitude which blends perfectly into roles that should not have soul, Johnny Depp is truly a one-of-a-kind actor. With a spectrum of characters Depp has played, ranging from Edward Scissorhands in the movie Edward Scissorhands (1990), to playing his role in 21 Jump Street (1987), up until the recent Pirates of the Caribbean (2003), he is involved in roles that “only the likes of Depp can pull off” (“Johnny Depp”, 1). Although coming from rebellious teenage years and many “ups and downs of his personal life” (“Johnny Depp Biography”, 2), the actor has become one of the great faces of the movie scene of his generation.
Wonder Woman. To get a better picture of just who Wonder Woman is, I checked out some of her many websites last night and found a surprisingly rich archive. Wonder Woman, in fact, has a complicated, even schizophrenic, heritage. She’s been portrayed by such diverse actors as the perky Cathy Lee Crosby and Lynda Carter, who endowed her with both a competent, working woman aura and a dose of eroticism (Lynda Carter, I discovered, is the subject of a lot of Wonder Woman fetishist erotica on the Internet these days). An Internet poll about who should play Wonder Woman, if the series were revived today, uncovered equally diverse ideas— people suggested Cher, Lucy Lawless, Angela Bassett, and Demi Moore. Clearly, in our cultural imagination, Wonder Woman is a character with many faces.
