Imagine you are walking through the woods and you come across a tall and hairy silhouette. You can’t get close enough to see what it is. You hope that you’ve just sighted Bigfoot. Bigfoot is a tall and hairy, ape-like creature. It can be from 6-10 feet tall and weigh from 600-800 pounds. It is also know as Sasquatch. Sasquatch comes from the word Sésquac which means wild man in Greek. Bigfoot does not exist because of lack of scientific and physical evidence.

One reason Bigfoot is make-believe is because of the scarcity of scientific evidence. Scientists have taken many samples of what was believed to be Bigfoot, but it all came from other types of animals and none from Bigfoot. According to Jeffrey Kluger, “The samples investigators found came from animals as diverse as bears, wolves, raccoons, porcupine, deer, sheep, at least one human, and a cow.” ( Kluger, pg. 1). Also for Bigfeet to survive and thrive they would have to be asexual or there would have to be a couple thousand in just a small area for them to reproduce. According to Benjamin Radford,” Contrary to Bigfoot enthusiasts’ claims, Bigfoot tracks are not particularly consistent and show a wide variation.”( Radford, Page 1). This means that these Bigfoot tracks are fake because the tracks should be unchanging. Also, it is very easy to make fake Bigfoot tracks. All you have to do is use fake rubber feet and step in the mud. This is another reason why the tracks are fake. Moreover, scientist have never found any bones or fossils that would match Bigfoot’s profile. All they have found were fossils from dinosaurs, wooly mammoths, and tiny marine crustaceans. None from
