Loyalty is one of the best ways to respond to conflict. Some other ways to respond to conflict are positive thinking, family, strength, bravery, and friendship. I think loyalty is the best way to respond to conflict because you have to stay loyal not only to yourself but to the people around you, just like Anne Frank stayed loyal to herself and her family when they went into hiding. Another way is to have a loyal friendship just like Shmuel and Bruno from The Boy in the Striped Pajamas or just like the people from Dear Miss. Breed stayed loyal to their positive and negative writing. Some human beings are not loyal to themselves or the people they live with, or they judge people by their race or religion. In the story Anne Frank: A Diary of a Young Girl she talks about her family, I believe that how she talks about her family shows that she is loyal to them. Also, by the way she describes them it seems that she really loves them. She stays loyal to her writing, she always writes to her friend named Kitty. Bruno’s attitude was different towards Shmuel because he was Jewish, not only were they different because of their race but Bruno noticed that Shmuel was a slave at the concentration camps. He also noticed that Shmuel was always hungry because he never got enough food. Shmuel’s attitude is different to because he has to treat Bruno with kindness and respect because his father is a Nazi. Shmuel was always alone, if he wasn’t alone he was doing some type of work the Nazi’s sent him to do. Bruno was always inside he always got to do whatever he wanted; Shmuel was never allowed to do anything he was sent to do things-he was never allowed to do what he wanted.
