Alumna Kappa Leadership Conference Think-Tank Time Activity Learning Objectives Supporting Materials 15 minutes I. Introduction Thank you so much for joining us today for our Alumnae Think-Tank. Before we get started, let’s take a minute to get to know one another. Ask participants to stand up one by one and introduce themselves to the group. Model the way by going first. As we were preparing our Kappa Leadership Conference events, we knew there were many opportunities we wanted to take advantage of. We wanted to have the opportunity to share good ideas. A Kappa Leadership Conference just for alumnae… What should this look like? 6. Why do you volunteer? What can Kappa do to better engage you? 7. What do alumnae need from the Fraternity? 8. What should communication to alumnae look like? Participants will work together to brainstorm and generate ideas. Make sure to have markers at each flip chart and the Post-it notes ready to go. 20 minutes III. Finding What Is Most Important Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such thoughtful ideas. Now, we’re going to drill down a bit further and provide opinions on those ideas we find most important or relevant. You’ve been working with a partner for brainstorming. Now, we’d like you to join up with another pair to form small groups of four. As a group, we’d like you to visit each flip chart and read the answers you see there. As a group, discuss what you see and choose what you feel to be the five most important ideas/concepts/responses. Place a star sticker on the ones you deem the most important.
