I. Attention:
I remember when I was in high school I would wake up every morning dreading the thought of “what am I going to wear today?” I remember seeing girls in school who would always have new clothes and I would wish of a wardrobe with name brand clothes. With my parents having three daughters in school who didn’t require uniform I could just imagine the nightmare it was for them to have to take three girls shopping all the time.

II. Credibility:
I am not stating that enforcing school uniforms will get rid of all problems a school has but I do know for a fact that schools who don’t enforce it have more problems and school who enforce have less problems to worry about.

School uniforms keep students focused on their education, not their clothes.
1. When students are all wearing the same outfit, they are less concerned about how they look and how they fit in with their peers; which helps them concentrate on their school work.
C. School uniforms create level playing field among students, reducing peer pressure and bullying. 1. No more competition between one another over clothing choices.
2. No more teasing of those who are dressed in less expensive or less fashionable outfits can be eliminated.
D. School uniforms make getting ready for school easier, which can improve punctuality.
1. No more being late because they don’t know what to wear.
E. Students dressed in uniform are better perceived by teachers and peers.

2. No more girls dressing too “sexy”.

1. No more burden of parents wasting so much money on clothes because their child wears the same outfit every day.
