Grammar is one of the components in the study of English language. Today, effective communication is crucial and one way to establish and maintain an effective, fruitful conversation is to master the rules that revolve around the language. It is crucial to have grammar as according to Harvey (1983), “…grammar is the system of rules we use to arrange words into meaningful English sentences.” It is imperative to master English Grammar and more importantly, the tenses.
