Technology has impacted the world as a whole and changed the way we live today. It has changed the health care systems, education and the government and I believe it will continue into the future. There is an Executive Summary dated September 2009 that shows how the President plans to use innovation (Technology) to support education. Technology has been part of our education systems for many, many years now. The purpose of this paper is to examine education and technology together and to show that education will improve. More importantly, I want to tread this subject to show how technology has helped education and hopefully my readers will become enlightened.

President Barack Obama said (August 5, 2009) "History should be our guide. The United States led the world’s economies in the 20th century because we led the world in innovation. Today, the competition is keener; the challenge is tougher; and that is why innovation is more important than ever. It is the key to good, new jobs for the 21st century. That’s how we will ensure a high quality of life for this generation and future generations. With these investments, we’re planting the seeds of progress for our country, and good-paying, private-sector jobs for the American people."

Just in the last five years, computers have moved from being in just every school to every classroom. The school my children attended has a Ipad for every student in certain classrooms. However, Technology isn’t explicitly classified as computers; there are also things like, projector, videos, polycoms and cell phone are all used today.
