What’s wrong with the world? Everyone is ignorant of the biggest problem we have; overpopulation. We produce way too many babies-75 million a year. The United Nation’s 2,000 scientists well know that overpopulation is the world’s only real problem. Get it? Earth only has one real problem, but we refuse to focus on it. This includes some of our scientists too; yes, they deny it too. They know that overpopulation is a serious issue, but avoid it anyways. Thousands of scientists have brilliant ideas to reduce the impact of global warming. But they avoid the cause (Farrell 1). Overpopulation is the problem, not the result. The world should put a limit on our population so we can live peacefully in the future. In order to better understand overpopulation, …show more content…

If you thought it was that people were immortal, then I suggest cutting off your video game playing. It is simply the mass production of babies. But there is more. Our life expectancy has dramatically increases in the past 500 years. But no one even realizes that this is a major problem. No one is paying attention to overpopulation, and that’s only one of the reasons that it’s getting out of hand. There are people and countries that have tried to put a limit on how many children you can have, like in China, for example, they had a one-child limit. It did not last very long (Farrell 1). Should we do something to prevent overpopulation, or let the effects of our causes wipe us out? That is up to you. Just because the world in general is overpopulated, it doesn’t mean that every single state or country is. But some places are. Sadly, the top 10 countries has enough people to equal more than half of the entire world’s population. Here is a list of the top 10 countries in the world with the highest population: 1. China, with a population of 1,343,239,923 people. 2. India, with a population of 1,205,073,612 people. 3. The United States, with a population of 313,847,465 people. 4. Indonesia, with a population of 248,645,008 people. 5. Brazil, with a population of 193,946,886 …show more content…

The more people we have, the more suffering there will be. But how? Real-life problems like Famines, poverty, diseases, and more (Overpopulation is still the Problem, Tal 1). There is no escaping these problems, no matter how much we do to try to prevent it. The Earth is only so big, and that’s why we are going to have to make it last until we can find a way to make life for humans on Mars possible. That is a long way today, so just simply by not littering could preserve Earth a little bit longer. We need Earth to live. We will go extinct due to our own actions, and other species will remain there. We need to take action in stopping overpopulation. We are running out of land. Without the land we need to maintain crops and wildlife, we will simply starve ourselves. The less land we have, the less wildlife, and the less wildlife, the less food. Earth is a very delicate system, and we must keep it balanced in order to live in peace. We need to stop overpopulation, and there are many ways in which you can do so. One of the simplest ways to do that is putting a limit on babies. For instance, if you could only have one baby per person, then eventually the world would not be able to keep increasing, because people would die at the same rate that babies are
