The Place and Time of The Final Solution

In this essay I am going to explain how and where the final solution

took place for the Holocaust.

In my opinion and according to some historical evidence, I am going to

explain how the final solution took place.

Firstly there are the logistics, for example how Hitler began with the

processes of transportation, and with the help of Echman, Heydrict and

Himmler it soon led to the eviction of Jews from their homes then the

running of Ghettos, the concentration camps and extermination camps.

Also another reason of how the final solution took place was the Nazi

policy towards the Jews. The Nazis acts of discrimination towards the

Jews, for example the organizing of the ghettos, boycotting of Jewish

shops and businesses, persecution, beatings and shootings was

inevitably going to lead to something, however it was certainly not

planned, that six million Jews were to be killed.

Did Hitler actually plan the extermination of the Jews from the very

beginning?

It is highly doubtful that Hitler knew and planned the extermination

of Jews worldwide. However, there were many things, which happened

that led to the extermination, and the many people who had an

influence on his views. For example the book 'Mein Kampf' which he

wrote during his time in prison, his book was extremely anti-Semitic

and his views on Jews, disabled people, black people etc. This more or

less was how he was, and from there his discrimination towards the

Jews began. What also led to the final solution were the speeches

Hitler delivered to different audiences in society and how his anti

Semitic view grew stronger and stronger with the followers he gained.

Hitler was always quite reserved of what words he would use he

mentioned often, 'if war is to break out' probably as an excuse for

what was really going to happen. Nobody really suspected that Hitler

had plans to exterminate the Jews, it was just a case of them being

resettled in the East.
