I attended the University of Michigan Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Kenneth Kiesler on January 25th. They performed Symphony No. 41, “Jupiter” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) and all pieces from The Planets suite by Gustav Holst (1874-1934). I loved the venue of the performance, it was very warm and inviting. Of all the pieces performed, I think I liked Mars, The Bringer of War and Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity the most.
