Formerly residing in Baguio City and currently residing in Chesapeake, Virginia, I grew up seeing and voting some of the same politicians seeking office for two or more terms with some doing their best to make Baguio City the finest place in the Philippines, while the others have little significant contributions in running the city government and its populace. southeast, Argentina on the south, and Chile and Peru on the west. The main physical feature of Bolivia is the Andes Mountains, which define the country's three geographic zones. First is the Altiplano, or plateau region, which lies between the Cordillera Occidental (west) and the Cordillera Real (northeast). On the northern end of the Altiplano lies the Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable body of water in the world. Secondly are the Yungas which form a transition zone between the peaks of the
ecosystems including the coastline of the Pacific Ocean, deserts, the Andes Mountains including the glacial regions, and the second largest portion of the Amazon Forest Basin (US AID, 2011). Its heterogeneity creates such a dire situation for Peru in terms of climate change and the effects it has on each individual system as well as the effects on wildlife and human occupants that live in these regions.
